NKF 2011 TRUCK SHOW!

With me working for the National Kidney Foundation I went to the truck show this year. There were tons of really neat trucks! Here are just a few pictures of the best ones.

This truck is a golf cart rebuilt to look just like a semi. It's amazing! They have this little cow train for kids, and look I fit!!!

When we finished playing around, and looking at all the trucks we ate a huge dutch oven dinner, and cobbler. Man it was good. I think I at too much because now look....
Now I don't fit in the cow train. ;) haha man it was fun!

Repeling!

Caitlyn had quite the experience! She went repeling for youth conference with the 20th ward, and she ended up being bribed into going down. Look at her!

A day in the mountains...

After a long day at work it was finally time to get out and have some fun. My family, Jared and I went for a nice "adventure" up Spanish Fork Canyon. We rode up the trial, and after fighting the steering on the four-wheeler we pulled off and made "camp". It was awesome. We played in the river, ate some yummy hot dogs, and enjoyed the bugs while resting. Here are some cute pictures.

Sorry it's small and blurry. Email pictures aren't so great. But everyone made their own hot dog sticks. Jared's was a hanger twisted into a nice little holder guarenteed not to allow the hot dog to fall off. Next was mom's a swinging hanger hoping not to bend into the ashes. Mine a tree limb stabbed right down the middle of my hot dog. It was awesome!

Few more pictures...

I found a few more pictures I just had to add of the Manti trip so here are a few more of the captured moments. =)
Here we are soaked to the bone. Sisters still looking beautiful. =)
Cousins at the temple late at night in the middle of the storm. Greatest night ride ever.
Gorgeous flowers surrounding the temple grounds.
The temple grounds were so peaceful, beautiful, and sacred. Even the little kids felt the spirit on the grounds they were reverent. It truly is the Lord's house...
This temple literally sits above the city. Every home, business, and place in Manti has a perfect view of this beautiful building. A light on a hill cannot be hid...
Temple in the pouring rain. Storms come, but the Lord's light shines continually. Never does it dull...

This is my favorite picture of the whole weekend. The beauty and simplicity of this picture literally has a thousand words. Heavenly Father thank you for your blessings of temples, and I am so grateful for the huge role they have in my life. I can't wait to receive more blessings of the temple, and the temples are a place we will never learn all there is to know about it. Prophets continue to sit in the temple and learn more about the work being done there. We have much to learn, and much time to learn it. Go to the temple don't let this beautiful building just be a sight you enjoy looking at, hear and feel it.

Manti Weekend #1

Manti fun! We had a blast. Got to baptims at the gorgeous temple, swimming, park, fun, and great great food. Oh yeah and family. ;) haha
Look at us girls with our hair wrapped up in towels after our showers. The bug infested showers might I add. But don't worry we survived. =) Maybe we could be pioneers after all. Haha yeah right!
The rain came and went a lot through out the day. Look at the double rainbow that came after the rain. Gorgeous!!
The brothers relaxing. =) A weekend much needed!
Swimming in the freezing cold! Look at all those kids jump. They might have to refill the pool after all that =)
Us smart girls "chilled" in the hot tub. =)
This is how we got everywhere in the back of Greg's sexy red chevy. We even got soaked by the sprinklers at the temple because uncle Greg parked underneath them. Haha
Look at my adorable parents. I love you mom and dad!
On Saturday  Matio was sealed to his family for eternity. The spirit was incredible, but the family and fun was just as good. Look at the pictures! Jealous? It was so great. I am so excited to do it again with everyone in two weeks. Watch out Manti Madsen family is coming back!!!
Matio is by far the cutest baby in the whole world. Look at those chubby cheeks perfect for kissing, and his cute little teeth coming in, but how in the world do you say no to those huge brown eyes? Good thing you don't have to say no, he is the happiest baby I have ever seen. Congrats Matio we are all so grateful to have you in our family!
Our missionary grandma =) She got permission to come up for the sealing. We were all so grateful to see her. She is a great missionary. We love you grandma.
Lexi acting just like mama. Well maybe the next one will be a cute girl just like Lexi. Yup that's right Amy announced she is expecting!!! We are so excited. =)
Sunday we took pictures at the temple. Here are a few of me...

Here are us cousins!!! Thanks aunt Ang for the perfect pictures!

My gorgeous sister! I love you Caitlyn.
I love my eternal family. I am so grateful Matio has an eternal family now. Temples bless our lives, I will put more pictures up later. It was a wonderful weekend!!!

4th of July

I am so grateful to the men and women out there fighting for my freedoms. For the 4th of July we went to the parade. I took pictures of my two favorite things there, the bagpipes, and yes the missionaries!

After the parade I went to a BBQ/Swim party with Jared and his family. The only picture I took was this one with Jared's little sister Marin. Cute! It was a blast. =)
Happy 4th of July Everyone!

Stadium of Fire!

Well stadium of fire was amazing! Jared, Caitlyn and I enjoyed watching the camera man getting tackled, the dancers, the jets fly over, David Archuleta, Brad Paisley and his awesome stage leave, and you can't forget the fireworks!!! They were incredible. =) Definitely a night to remember forever. It was so hot when we got there, but we had a great time.

SO MUCH FUN!
